9.1 Firstly, ensure a suitable door lining is prepared and installed – square and level - door sashes should be offset from the aperture as per the technical drawings (FIG 9A)
9.2 Place door sash in aperture with 2 x Winbags underneath and adjust for correct position -use this to mark hinge locations
9.3 Take the sash away from the aperture and place a hinge over the drawn hole locations, and draw around the hinge to identify the area to be prepped (if removing the hinge from sash, use the middle hinge and do not overtighten when refixing into the rivnuts) (FIG 9B)
9.4 Route/chisel the hinge preps to 3mm depth, ensuring the hinges sit flush with the jamb liner (FIG 9C)
FIG 9A

FIG 9C
9.5 With all hinges fitted back on the sash, place the door at 90º to the opening, locate the hinges in the prepped slots and with a self-centring hinge drill bit, drill the holes for the hinge fixings
9.6 Screw the hinges into place and close the door and check for tolerances around
9.7 Where applicable, measure and mark the latch location in the door liner and route or chisel out the latch plate location (FIG 9D)
