Sashes
4.1 Ensure that the sash packers are pre-fitted to the side and bottom of the sash prior to installation and roughly mark the locations in the glazing chamber
4.2 Two Fixed Sash Fixing Blocks with fixings are in the components box - install one Fixed Sash Fixing Block to the top track within 150mm of the corner (where the fixed sash will be fitted according to the configuration ordered)
4.3 The sash should be lifted into position where there are no Fixing Blocks, then slid / lifted into place (FIG 4A & 4B)
4.4 Fix using 4.8 x 80mm screws provided through the polyamide as close to the Fixing Blocks as possible, using the locations marked previously in the glazing chamber
4.5 The remaining Fixing Block is slid into place through the end mill detail at the top of the interlock, prior to installation of the 4.8 x 80mm fixing at this location (the Fixing Block should be roughly 150mm from the corner of the interlock)
4.6 Check rollers to determine which drive type is required for adjustment (Phillips or 5mm allen key)
4.7* Insert the sash into the top track as far as possible (FIG 4C) and then swing the bottom in and lower so that the wheels of the roller engage onto its runner (FIG 4D)
*NOTE: Check sash base for level and adjust wheels if necessary if there is interference
4.8 Ensure all opening sashes are running smoothly and are seated correctly on to the track runner, and ensure that the sashes are plumb at the meeting stiles and check that the interlocks engage fully (most importantly at the top and bottom of the sash, the interlock will move when bonded to the glass).
4.9 Adjust rollers accordingly, roller on the interlock should be the only roller that needs to be adjusted for level
4.10 Ensure hooks engage with the hook keep when the door is locked and locking is smooth
4.11 Install shootbolt keep at the top and bottom of the track, install one fixing screw through the slotted hole and the pre drilled hole in the track and hand tighten with the screw in the middle of the slot
4.12 Close the door and operate the lock, adjust the keeps accordingly, there should be minimal resistance to operate the lock and no movement of the sash once in the locked position
4.13 Once the keeps have been adjusted drill a 4mm hole for the additional screws through two walls, insert the screws, if the screws bottom out then the second wall has not been drilled or is misaligned
