NOTE: The weather seal around the outer frame to the building is the responsibility of the installer - sealant and trim kits are available t0 purchase from Origin
10.1 We recommend you use expanding foam to fill the gaps between the outer frame and building on all four sides
10.2 Wherever practical, gaps around the window should be foam filled to stop air flow around the window and the surrounding aperture (FIG 9A)
10.3 If required, use trims to bridge the gap between the window and the aperture
10.4 The sealant should be applied against a firm backing so that it is forced against the sides of the joint during application
