1.1 The below tools are required for the installation of the window

Battery screwdriver

Drill

SDS with appropriate bits for preferred frame fixings

Drill bits

Appropriate for drilling jamb packers, and lintel
Counter-sink

Fixings for lintel

Flat bar

Foam gun

Frame packers (mixed selection)

Gasket sheers

Glazing packers

4mm (min. width 32mm)

Glazing paddle

Hammer

Plastic / rubber

Saw

For cutting aluminium cill

Screwdrivers

Flat head (large)
Philips 2
Pozi 2

Sealant and gun

Spirit level

NOTE: If it is necessary to pack the outer frame by more than 6mm, a solid plastic or hardwood packer should be used

Preparation

2.1 Open cavities discovered between the inner and outer skins of brick or block work should be bridged or closed with an insulation material in accordance with the Local Building Authority
